Tax Forms
The library receives a limited supply of the following tax forms:
- Federal: 1040 and 1040-SR form and instruction booklet
- Illinois: IL-1040 form and instruction booklet, and schedules EIC, ICR, and WIT.
They are located on a table across from the User Services Desk. Please visit the Help Desk if you need assistance printing other forms.

Free Tax Preparation Assistance
College of DuPage Volunteer Income Tax Assistance Program
Accounting students, supervised by faculty, offer free in-person assistance with preparation of state and federal tax returns. No income requirements. Appointments are required.
- Schedule an in-person appointment for same-day tax return preparation services at College of DuPage Glen Ellyn Campus. Appointments are available from 8 AM to 2 PM on Saturdays February 11-April 15, except April 1.
- Schedule an in-person appointment for same-day tax return preparation services on select Sundays at one of the following locations:
- Aurora Public Library, Eola Road Branch (Sunday, February 19, 1-5 PM)
- Park View Elementary School, Glen Ellyn (Sunday, February 26, 10 AM-3 PM)
- College of DuPage Carol Stream Center (Sunday, March 19, 10 AM-3 PM)
- College of DuPage Westmont Center (Sunday, March 19, 10 AM-3 PM)
AARP Foundation Tax-Aide provides in-person and virtual tax assistance to anyone free of charge, with a focus on taxpayers over 50 with low to moderate income. Appointments are required.
