Looking for help studying for the ACT, SAT, PSAT? Feeling lost figuring out FAFSA, scholarships, or Financial Aid? The Library has you covered. We have lots of resources to help you study for the big test, fill out your FAFSA, and apply for aid and scholarships.

 

TEST PREP BOOKS

Check out our College & Career section and check out an ACT, SAT, or PSAT test prep book. You can borrow it for up to 4 weeks or longer if there are no holds. We carry test prep books from Kaplan, College Board, Princeton Review, and more! Click here to see what titles we currently have on the shelf. 

 

PRACTICE TESTS

LearningExpress Library is a resource Messenger Library patrons can access at home or at the Library. Here you can practice full versions of the ACT, SAT, PSAT, or AP tests. Simply sign in with your Messenger Library and PIN. You can access this resource here. HINT: Your PIN is the last 4 digits of your phone number. 

Kaplan Turbo Tests is a free service offered by Kaplan Test Prep. Turbo Tests give you instant results and guidance in which areas to study more. Check our calendar to see when the next test date is. Tips on how to use the Library as a Resource 

  • Get a library card so you can borrow material and use our online databases.
  • Check out and borrow test prep books.

  • Attend an ACT/SAT/PSAT Turbo Test at the Library. 
  • Attend a free presentation by either ISAC or My College Planning Team.

  • Reserve and use a Library study room for quiet solo or group study time. 
  • Check out our resource wall with information about student loans, FAFSA, and more. You can find these resources in the teen section of the Library.
