Sign up for “Born to Read” to start your littlest ones on their lifelong love of literacy and libraries. Welcome to the world, and welcome to Messenger Public Library!

- One Born to Read bag per family
- Canvas tote bag includes board books, informational brochures, and a book for caregivers, all for you to keep.
- Children must be born on or after September 1, 2025 to participate. Going forward, children must be under 6 months old.
- Bags may be picked up at the library or delivered to your home.
- Born to Read is funded through a generous grant from the Dunham Foundation for early literacy initiatives.
