Helping Hands Volunteers

Students, 6th-12th grade. Need to earn service hours or want to volunteer just for fun? Apply to be apart of Messenger's Helping Hands program! Earn service hours by helping staff with programs. Choose when you volunteer based off your own schedule. Interested? Fill out and drop off an application to the Youth Services desk. If you have questions or need more details, visit Youth Services or call us at 630-801-4340. 

 

Tutors Needed!

Love working with children? Need service hours? We are looking for high school students interested in tutoring elementary and middle school students. Homework Help meets on Tuesdays from 6-8pm when SD 129 is in session. If you are interested in tutoring, please email us at teens@messengerpl.org or visit us.

 

“Page-in-Training” Volunteer Opportunity

Students, 4th- 6th grade, are invited to join a new volunteer program.  Volunteering will mainly involve straightening the books in your assigned section of shelving, picking up the play space, and other simple tasks. To qualify, students must complete an application and commit to volunteering a minimum of 2 times/month for approximately 15 minutes at your convenience. Here's the application to fill out and drop off at the Youth Services desk.
