Try life in the fast lane! The Messenger Public Library is pleased to announce that our new self-service checkout kiosks are up and running. Five self-service checkout stations are available for public use. Two stations are at the Circulation Desk, two are in Youth Services and one is across from the Adult Information Desk. Using the touchscreen stations patrons can check out their own books, DVDs and other materials, renew their current checkouts and review their account. Staff are happy to show you how to use these stations or you can discover them for yourself.
As an added convenience to our patrons, two machines — one at the circulation desk and one at Youth Services — come equipped with credit card readers. You can pay fines quickly and easily with a credit or debit card, and without having to log into your account on a computer.
